Basics: NYC, Reader, Writer, Psychology, Law
As a current undergraduate senior at UCSD with a prospective career in law, I am always looking for a variety of work experiences and mentors to aid me in furthering my career and broadening my familiarity with the field I have decided to build my career around. However, taking the time to read as I continue to grow and learn has become a source of necessary self-care.
I am highly passionate towards effecting change in the both the justice system and other matters of psychology, mental health, social justice, and serving the underprivileged. True advocacy, particularly now under the weight of so many injustices in our current political climate, is a role that I am willing and eager to tackle-- a responsibility too great to ignore.
Outside career and academia, I am an avid reader, a writer, a trained ballet/pointe dancer, and am highly appreciative of the arts.
Most recently, my research on Disability, Trauma, and PTSD Representation in Contemporary Literature and the Medical and Legal implications of such representations, has been accepted for journal publication as of Dec 16th 2021 to the International Scientific Committee. I was also accepted as a research presenter at ICD/IRC 2021 (International Conference on Disability/ International Research Conference) in Paris, France, where I was awarded for Best Presentation.
